A few months back I made an upholstered headboard and two Euro shams out of this goodness:
A little instagram pic (the throw pillow is a fake, eventually will be a lumbar with greek key in gold):
The headboard is simple, so I really loved that the Euro shams gave it some more oomph!
The bed is a double and we hope to eventually put our queen in their a purchase a king,
so budget was the name of the game. I already had this perfectly good white duvet, but it needed something.
I was inspired to try my own greek key like this:

But Just never could figure out the best way to accomplish it.
Thankfully, just before attempting one of my favorite blog Little Green Notebook

They had a seamstress put it together for a bedroom re-do she did for Joanna at Cup of Jo.
Wait for it I am going somewhere with all of this!
Another blogger, Tilly Maison must have been thinking the same thing
because she accomplished a great DIY version and shared it here!
She did all of it with fusible webbing! But if you have a sewing machine you could make it even more sturdy.

Now to pick out the color!!
I will let you know how it works out!
P.S. a great blogger A Creative Day had the fantastic suggestion to checkout some of the
online Alt summit lectures that they have, amazing! However, somehow when my brain
read 11 am pacific time it immediately went to 8 am eastern time. Come on Becca, you have family
in Cali! So, at 8 am I am sitting waiting for a class that does not start to 2 pm. Duh!
