a new do

the classic pippi longstocking for halloween

So, funny story when I was younger I had bangs. And I mean BANGS!
They started on top of my head and were nice and thick (sorry mom, you tried, and I love you).
Well, one day I decided I didn't want bangs anymore so I gelled them back.
I am sure it looked great with my long flowy (not gelled) hair.
I hopped in the car headed to ballet class and my oldest brother looked at me and said,
"You have a really large forehead, never grow your bangs out."
Love you too, Elliott.  No really I do, I have the best brothers.
We love to laugh about this now, especially since I wore bangs til the 10th grade.
I guess I take his opinion seriously!

Well, all that to say I am dying to have bangs again.
I know I know a little late on the bang bandwagon, but I don't care.
Lucky for me one of my best friends is an amazing hair stylist, Janie at Salon Couture.
I have been telling her I am ready have bangs for months now, but keep chickening out.
But, next week, it is happening.

Here is my inspiration (thanks Reese)

Thinking I will start with these:

Then if I like I can move to these:

I'll report back on my bangin new do.
