spring inside your home

So, this is funny for me to even be posting about indoor plants.
One of my dearest friends, Chelsea, was my roommate for almost five years before we both got married last year. (fun note: she introduced me to my hubs, and my hubs introduced her to her groom).
We have very different decor taste, but it was no biggie. But, one thing that always made me laugh
is she LOVED plants.  I always told her when she got married her house was
going to be like one big greenhouse!  And, here I go following in her footsteps.
I am loving lots of green inside, here are some great go to's!

Indoor fruit trees, one of these will be added to our home soon!

I posted about my love for succulents back in the early fall
I have a fun one that adorns our snake skin tray on our coffee table.
But, thanks to Abode Love I have found my perfect planters.
These bust planters just made their way to the top of my wish list (borderline creepy I know):

I love the look of a fiddle leaf tree in neutral interiors. It brings so much life to a space!

What are your favorite indoor plants, and what is your best tip to keep them alive?

  1. I love the fig tree (any idea where to get one around here?) and succulents. I plan on adding a lot of succulents to my screened in porch this summer. I just love them!

  2. I love the fig tree. I have 2 small ones and I haven't killed them so far, considering I have the blackest thumb ever! I just water them once a week, sometimes every other week.

  4. I would love to have a fig tree. I am too nervous to invest in a pricey plant because I cannot keep them alive. I am a succulent girl. I have had some for a month and a half and I have only watered them 1x. They are still alive. Hooray!
