cinco!

Gosh part of me just can't believe May is already here!
But it is, and Cinco De Mayo is upon us.
From what I have heard it is celebrated more here than in Mexico.
For a bit on the history of the day head over to Wikipedia (insert office quote here!) and read up.
Sometimes you just need a reason to celebrate and dress a little festive.
I could enjoy some margaritas and guac in either one of these cute numbers!

And to eat...
This is our favorite go to taco recipe,
introduced to me by one of my dearest friends!

My favorite guacamole recipe:
3 ripe avocados
juice of one lime
half a cup of pico de gallo
a little bit of black pepper

And this margarita recipe is awesome as well:

and for dessert, how cute are these cookies...

I once showed up to a Cinco de Mayo party wearing a table cloth and fake mustache. YIKES!
Hope yall have a fabulous weekend!

See you Monday, with a giveaway!
