fall favorites

I have had added a few great fall pieces to my closet this season!  The great thing about fall in the South is that you can wear the same exact pieces through winter, just throw on a light coat.  I love dressing in the fall, it is so fun to layer, wear booties and jeans, scarves.   I feel like I can get so much more creative because I am working with more pieces, although lets be honest most days I will end up in a gray t still!

madewell skimmers: these are great! I throw them on all the time, they go with everything.  They fit true to size and are very comfortable.  I love a neutral with some pizazz!

j.crew toothpick jeans: I am very picky about my jeans.  Everything from the wash to the fit.  These passed all of my jeans tests.  They are a lighter wash than I normally do, but I am loving the change! 

They fit true to size, stretch after first wear, but hold their shape great after that. 

maison scotch tunic dress: this was an impulse buy, and I don't regret it one bit. Comfy and great colors

everlane scarf: these remind me of the fabulous Love Quotes scarves.  Big, cozy, lightweight.

leopard booties: after eyeing the madewell version, I love the look for less by urban. just enough edge!

open weave sweater: this is a great Charleston version of the popular chunky knit sweater.  I picked mine up at a local boutique, II Brunettes, R.D. style carries other great versions as well!
