Friday's Fancies | blog swap

a few things...

1. One Thousand Gifts: an amazing book, given to my by my mother about learning to live fully where you are at. Amazing! 

2. I picked up this great chambray shirt at the J. Crew outlet last week.  Super soft and goes with everything!

3. Next on my wishlist is a pair of leopard print loafers.  I love all of the possibilities!

4.  I have loved this fabric for a while now, I would really love to recover a chair with it, but have yet to find the right chair. 

5.  Have I shared with yall my brussel sprout recipe?  Quarter them, put them in a cast iron skillet with lemon juice, fresh garlic, 2 tbls of olive oil and kosher salt. In the oven on 420 for about 40 min. Yum!!

6. Hubby loves it when I wear red lipstick, I am going to make a commitment to rock it more.  It takes guts that I dont know if I have. Do you sport red lips?  

7.  I won a great Stella Dot giveaway thanks to Annette, now I need to decide what to get, whats your opinion?

Fashion Friday | Inspired

It is east to be inspired by what we see floating around on Pinterest!

I was excited when {av} decided that this week we needed to put that inspiration

 to work for our Friday's Fancies.  I love the boldness of this image, as well as the simplicity. 

Of course I dream big on Friday's and created my look without looking at price
tags (or what season it is) But, lucky for me I could create a very similar look in
my own closet.  I'll have to remember this look come Spring!
