I just needed to pop in and let the people know, I will be back. I have had a lot of thought about this ole blog as I said goodbye to 2012 and hello to 2013. But, I am still sort of processing them and trying to decide how to execute those ideas. I will tell you one thing, this blog started because of my love for design, and to hopefully one day own a interior design boutique (and services) here in Charleston. Well, life is real, which means a season came that is new for me and I started just blogging to put something up everyday and really moving away from the point of it all...not what I had in mind, at all. So, I am continuing to take some time to refocus things. There will be days of just design inspiration, current projects, decorating ideas, favorites, etc.

ReplyDeleteI'm right there with you on not wanting to post something just to post, and I'm also feeling like the more I see blogging become a product of the masses, the more I want to return to why I started blogging in the first place. Looking forward to seeing and hearing more from you Becca!
ReplyDeleteamen sistah! I've been feeling the same way lately and it was really hard for me to come back and post today. But I knew if I didn't today then I wouldn't all week and then maybe longer. My uncle asked me over Christmas what the intention of my blog was and I had no answer. I need to fix that!
